Tempany Deckert Donovan grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She’s been acting for 30 years, writing books for 25 and author coaching for 10. She studied acting and playwriting at the H.B. Studio in New York City, and soon after published her first kids’ book series, with Scholastic, Australia. Since having children, she no longer wants to write for kids and now writes dry wit dramadies for grown-ups. She marvels at the talents of Ruth Ozeki, Meg Mason and Jonathan Safran Foer.

She proudly teaches novel writing at UCLA E’s Writers Program, and her debut adult novel of fiction is coming soon. Stay tuned …
